 | La Quinta is one of the largest owner/operators of select service hotels in the United States. La Quinta has committed to an aggressive strategic growth plan, increasing the number of hotels it owns, as well as expanding geographic distribution of the La Quinta brand. Our corporate investment strategy is focused on making single-asset and portfolio acquisitions of select service properties. The acquired hotels are subsequently renovated and repositioned as La Quinta Inn & Suites. Since January 2006, La Quinta has committed over $400 million towards buying and converting hotels to the La Quinta brand.

Significant Financial Resources Owned by the affiliates of The Blackstone Group L.P., La Quinta has access to financial resources to support ongoing investments and capital improvements, to tolerate temporary displacement from renovations and ramp-up and to commit quickly and with confidence to a transaction.
Brand and Management Infrastructure La Quinta distinguishes itself from many other buyers in that no third-party approvals are required for brand affiliation or management. All acquired hotels are branded as La Quinta Inn & Suites and managed by its own corporate operations group.
Professional Diligence and Conversion Team La Quinta has a dedicated team of in-house professionals and third party consultants to deploy for diligence inspections and review, as well as the eventual closing and conversion of the property. La Quinta’s conversion team encompasses all aspects of corporate support, including human resources and training, information technology, sales and marketing, and operations.
